My personal computer crashed yesterday and I cannot do my office works because the computer technician that I called will be available by tomorrow. Unfortunately, I know nothing about electronics so I cannot fix it by myself. I still have tons of office works to do and I cannot wait for the technician until tomorrow. I called up my cousin who studied computer electronics and he said that he will come today to check my pc. Good thing there is a family member who knows something about computers and I do not have to wait in vain for my personal computer to be fixed.

A great way to let my husband know that we are okay and we are having fun even if we are miles apart is through social networking sites. Like Facebook or Twitter, my husband and I never get alone anymore because we chat and talk to each other all the time. I even made slide shows of all our pictures together and upload it on Facebook so that he will have a memory of us whenever he feels lonely and sad. These technologies help each family to be closer and help them to never get bored anywhere in the world. I also made a dvd copy of this slide shows and send them to my husband to watch in a more convenient way, and that is the television.

I have a grocery store in the middle of the city but since I am busy with the other branches, I can’t manage every store 24 hours. I want to put a security camera in each store so I can still see what is happening even if I am not around. I am not saying that I don’t trust my employees; it’s just that I want to protect my store from any problems. I know that the security camera will help a lot because it will serve as my eyes in every store that I have. With these cameras, I am more relaxed and calm.

I promised myself not to smoke anymore or at least lessen the puffing especially when I am with my family. But I cannot really help but smoke especially if I am nervous or tense. My line of work is giving me all this tension and stress and releasing them through smoking is my only way. I guess my mom noticed that so she gave me an e-cigarettes instead. It was my first time to see and hear about it and I was so curious that I tried it at that moment. It is not the same as the real thing of course, but this can be very helpful to me because I have been trying to quit or lessen it. It’s amazing how technology can rule the world, and now, even your vices can be technology enhanced!

IT or information technology has been a job that really rise above the occasion. Almost every company needs an IT expert so I told my cousin, who’s really having a hard time choosing a degree in college, to take up IT. He can also have a part time career and look for IT job search and make it an advantage for him after he graduates.

You can never go wrong with computers especially now that everything around us revolves around technology and computers. Any company would hire you if you are an expert because not everybody is willing to take up that course because sometimes, being n the technology world is complicated.

As part of my New Year’s Resolution, I would suggest to my dad that it is time to upgrade the store. I know that he likes it the old fashioned way but he needs to be practical at this age in time. It is already the start of a new decade and he still do the inventory manually. He said that it is the only thing that makes him busy at all times. He doesn’t want any technology like barcode scanner running around the store and making him look like an idiot sitting there.

I told him that although he has a point, he also needs to think about his health, he might be stuck there counting the inventory and suffer from pains like stiff neck or feet or hand, right? Plus, it would make the customers life easy too because he will have more time doing the sales talk rather than manual inventory of the stock.

Finally, it is time to break the coin bank! Yey, this is the time of the year where I am finish with the savings for the rest of the year. Before Thanksgiving, I open the  really trunk and take all the money, see how much I got there. It is also the beginning of Christmas shopping for me.

I do not want to ask for my mother money every year for shopping gifts meant for my friends and love ones I want to feel the harships of not eating the food you want because you need to save money to buy what you want and to buy special gifts for special people.

This year, I am buying myself  Bluray dvd players because I just love movies. My old dvd is just too old and not trendy anymore, blurays are in. I think I will still have enough if I buy the portable one so I can carry it wherever I am.
